Today: Dereck Johnson, Lyndon Group’s Chief Information Security Officer, is responsible for all aspects of data security, data protection and data governance for our business.  This also includes any component of data privacy and retention.

Overall Experience: For the sixteen years prior to joining Lyndon Group. Dereck was responsible for leading a global team responsible for all aspects of Expense Management for an enterprise business.  As a Global Director of Expense Management, it was his responsibility to design, implement and maintain a framework for expense management activities, designed to limit spend and risk while ensuring compliance with global statutory controls and protections.  Even prior to these sixteen years, Dereck worked deeply in controls, compliance and data protections, from the start of his career in banking through today, Dereck’s mind is always centered on the core components of information security.

Fun Facts: Dereck is a fan of classical music, non-fiction, documentary films and a tea aficionado.  When not working or reading, you will likely find him searching out the newest tea shoppe for his favourite cuppa.
