Manager, OMS

Annual Base Salary: $105,000 - $140,000 dependent on experience.  

The Manager, OMS is a management position within our Operational Management Support Practice. The OMS Manager will coach, mentor, and support all the members of their designated team and will also serve as the practices first line of escalation for client engagements, overseeing select relationships and providing direction. This position will also oversee the work distribution and quality control of services provided to our clients. They will also ensure consistency of services provided across the entire client base for the OMS practice.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of individuals ensuring they have clear objectives and receive necessary support.

  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure alignment in achieving business goals.

  • Provide consultation services to clients, offering expert advice and solutions tailored to their unique needs.

  • Drive the execution of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

  • Implement strategies for improving team performance and increasing productivity.

  • Ensure compliance with established company guidelines and procedures to provide high-quality service and outstanding customer care.

  • Promotes the development of their team through coaching, training, and leadership development.

  • Lead bi-weekly team calls to educate staff on important updates in the T&E industry, furthering educational topics and other important items related to overall job function and client health.

  • Execute a strong and robust communication process between all managers and staff.

  • Ensure all employees receive the appropriate training and education with a focus on the T&E industry as well as their daily job responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to understand and execute initiatives for the department.

Desired Skills/Abilities

  • Prior experience managing people remotely.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation design ability.

  • Empathetic mindset with a focus on serving those they are leading.  

  • Excellent relationship management/building skills.

  • Thorough understanding of training processes – specifically related to the Travel & Expense industry and/or SAP Concur

  • Ability to moderate large groups.

  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or other equivalent experience in a related area is preferred.

  • At least two years of experience in a management position.

  • At least five years of experience in the T&E Industry
